Export regions

Goji berries are the small red fruits of the wolfberry shrub. Dried berries are elongated, wrinkled and sweet. The cargo consists of whole fruit, rather than powder or extract.

In China, the berries have a place in both cooking and medicine. The same lot may supply a kitchen or a maker of remedies. They are picked from the shrub and dried for storage. A merchant examines their colour and condition, looking for spoiled fruit before judging the lot.
